Step into the Surreal: Bold Prints That Break the Mold

About

Welcome to the part of the site where I’m expected to say something profound about who I am. Here goes.

I’m not here to paint pretty pictures that match your sofa. I’m here to hold up a slightly cracked mirror to the human condition—and maybe smirk while I do it. My art is emotional excavation with a palette knife: raw, unvarnished, and not afraid to get uncomfortable.

I’m self-taught, which is a polite way of saying I ignored the rules and decided to make things up as I went along. Somewhere between frustration and fascination, I discovered that I wasn’t just making images—I was pulling fragments of emotion and psyche into the light. Awkward. Vulnerable. Occasionally absurd. Always honest.

The subjects of my work aren’t always obvious. Sometimes they’re hiding in shadowy corners or buried under layers of color and chaos. That’s intentional. Life doesn’t hand you answers wrapped in bows. You’ve got to dig—and when you do, you might just find something that looks a little like truth. Or a punchline. Or both.

So if you’re into glossy, inspirational art with hashtags like #blessed and #grateful… you’re in the wrong gallery.

But if you see the beauty in broken edges, the humor in our shared dysfunction, and the poetry in a good visual gut-punch—then pull up a chair. You’re exactly where you belong.
